TITLE: System Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a System Administrator based in the Denver/DTC area. This person will work at our office in the Denver Tech Center (near Microcenter), assisting clients on site & remotely. The ideal candidate will be able to design, implement and support client environments of varying complexity. The candidate will also be reponsible for escalated support issues. This position includes a rotating on-call schedule.
Important note: because we believe in a work/life/family balance, we are looking for people that have a commute time to our office of 20 minutes or less. If you are further out than that, you will not be happy in the long term and should not apply.
Customer service and over communication is the main focus of our business, we just happen to have technical skills.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Oral & written communication skills – #1
- Extreme attention to details, documentation & follow through
- Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
- Ability to “shift gears” rapidly between customer environments
- 3-5 years of high-level experience
- Windows Server 2008-2012 R2
- DC / AD
- VMWare ESXi 5.1 – 6.0
- Windows 7 thru Windows 10
- Server Hardware / Software
- LAN, WAN and Wireless
- Firewalls and routers (Sonicwall preferred)
- Google Apps for Work
- Mac OS skills a plus
- Server and infrastructure monitoring
- Security best practices
EDUCATION (not required but preferred): Associates or Bachelors level studies in a technology related degree path. Industry standard certifications such as ITIL, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, etc.
COMPENSATION: Full time, salaried position that includes heathcare, 401K benefits and bonus potential. Compensation is based on experience level.
